From 26 – 29 August Halkidiki was the gathering space where 30 young people participated on the bilateral Forum between Greece and North Macedonia “Youth Dialogue in the Balkans 2021”. Young people from both countries had the opportunity to discuss and share ideas for further and active cooperation in civil society level after the Prespa Agreement. Through World Cafe the participants were discussing the future of cooperation in different spheres such as: Cooperation in security, Youth (unemployment, Education, Nationalism, Human/civil rights and the context for bilateral relations. They concluded that facing the future challenges requires reconciliation and joint effort. Moreover, acknowleadged academics and experts contributed to have a more informative and structured discussion in our bilateral relations. The project was orginized by Fridrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom Greece, and YAK was on of the project partners.
